Thank you for shopping with Metal Deco. We aim to provide a smooth and transparent shipping experience for all orders across South Africa.
1. Shipping Partners
We make use of trusted third-party courier providers for all deliveries, including:
- The Courier Guy
- Big Foot Express
- Other approved courier partners where required
Courier selection may vary depending on the size, weight, and destination of the order.
Larger or oversized items may be shipped via freight or specialised transport services such as Big Foot Express.
2. Production & Delivery Times
As most of our products are made to order, production times may vary depending on the item and current order volume.
Estimated delivery timelines will be provided once your order has been completed and dispatched.
Standard delivery timeframes are typically:
- Main Cities & Urban Areas: 1–5 business days
- Outlying or Remote Areas: 3–7 business days
Please note that delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including:
- Weather conditions
- Public holidays
- High courier volumes
- Regional service delays
- Load shedding or transport disruptions
3. Delivery Information & Special Requests
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information at checkout.
While we may pass along additional delivery notes to the courier company where possible, we cannot guarantee that special delivery instructions will be followed.
This includes requests such as:
- Specific delivery times
- Leaving parcels unattended
- Calling before delivery
- Delivering to alternative addresses after dispatch
4. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information.
Tracking can be monitored directly through the courier provider’s website.
5. Shipping Liability
Once an order has been collected by the courier partner, delivery handling and transportation are managed by the courier company.
While we will always assist where possible, Metal Deco cannot be held responsible for delays, damages, or delivery issues caused by third-party courier providers.
6. Lost or Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or appears to be lost in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery or the expected delivery date.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the packaging and product (if damaged)
- A description of the issue
We will work directly with the courier provider to investigate and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
